What we build when the client is us.

Two products of our own, built with exactly the process we sell. Both are real code in a real repository, and each one is labelled with the stage it is actually at — not the stage we would like it to be at.

The problem

Norwegian clubs still raise money on paper raffle books, spreadsheets and someone's personal Vipps number. The money arrives, but nobody can say who sold what, the local businesses sponsoring the club get nothing measurable back, and the treasurer carries all of it alone.

What we built

One platform where a club runs its raffles, its sponsor agreements and its payouts together — and where every purchase a member makes through a sponsoring business routes a share back to their club automatically, with a ledger entry to prove it.

How it works

Each live draw runs in its own supervised process, so a raffle that fails takes nothing else down with it and rejoins cleanly on restart. Presence and PubSub keep every viewer on the same tick of the countdown. Payment settles through Stripe or Vipps, and completion writes the transaction and the club's share in a single database transaction — there is no state in which the money moved but the credit did not.

The problem

Buying a car in Norway is a 300 000 to 1 000 000 kr decision, usually made on advice from whoever is selling the car. The comparison tools that do exist are owned by insurers and dealers, so the recommendation can never be neutral.

What we built

A report the buyer pays for — 99 kr, no advertiser and no dealer behind it — that ranks real models against what this particular household actually needs, and shows its working for every number.

How it works

You describe the situation in Norwegian and a language model turns it into a structured profile: budget, annual distance, charging access, whether a baby or a long commute has just arrived. Seven criteria are re-weighted around that profile and normalised so no dimension can silently vanish. Underneath sits a five-year cost model — depreciation, electricity or fuel, insurance, service, summer and winter tyres, tolls with the EV discount, and the loan annuity — which recalculates live as you drag the assumptions.

Keeping it honest

Used prices come off Finn.no nightly, safety ratings from Euro NCAP monthly, and owner sentiment from Norwegian car forums weekly. The crawler reads robots.txt before every request, holds itself to one request per second, identifies itself by name, and keeps no personal data from any forum post.
